Do you ever feel like keeping your bathroom sink organized is a never ending battle that you’re not going to win? Girl, SAME. I can usually keep up with making sure my house is generally organized, but for some reason the bathroom is always last on my priority list. Especially with a little toddler around, it feels like I can never get ahead of this task. However, there are a few products that I’ve recently invested in that at least keep my bathroom sink organized which has been a total game changer for me lately. If you’re in the same boat, keep reading!
This post is all about bathroom sink organization.
1. Clear Stackable Drawers for Under-the-Sink Storage
Let’s start by maximizing the often-underutilized space beneath your bathroom sink. Invest in clear stackable drawers to neatly store extra toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other essentials. Not only will this keep everything organized and easily accessible, but the transparent design allows you to see exactly what’s inside at a glance. Clear stackable containers are always my go-to whenever I’m organizing any space – they work literally anywhere!
2. Labels for Those Drawers. And Everything Else
Labels are the unsung heroes of organization. Use them to categorize and label your drawers, containers, and baskets for a streamlined and clutter-free bathroom sink area. No more guessing games or searching for misplaced items – everything will have its designated spot.
3. Drawer Organizers
Never underestimate the power of drawer organizers! These handy tools come in various shapes and sizes to fit your specific needs, whether it’s corralling makeup brushes (me, always), sorting hair accessories, or organizing skincare products.
4. Utilize a Caddy for Skin Care Items
Keep your skincare routine in check by using a dedicated caddy to store your favorite products. Whether it’s serums, moisturizers, or face masks, having them all in one place makes it easy to grab what you need and ensures that your countertop stays clutter-free. Also, bonus that Target’s Brightroom line makes the cutest sink caddy that will look cute on your sink AND be functional.
5. Glass Jars for Cotton Pads & Q-Tips
Cotton pads and Q-Tips are two products that we use daily in our house, so I always want to have them easily accessible on our bathroom sink. However, the packaging for both is hideous so I always opt to buy cute glass jars to put them in. That way, they’re both easy to reach for and look good on your sink!
6. Maximize Vertical Space
Don’t forget to look up! Install shelves, floating racks, or wall-mounted organizers to take advantage of vertical space above your bathroom sink. They can be used as functional storage and a place to add some decor as well.
7. Drawer Dividers for Larger Items
For larger items like hairdryers, curling irons, or other hair tools, use drawer dividers to keep them neatly organized and easily accessible. No more digging through tangled cords or cluttered drawers – everything will have its own designated place.
8. Multi-Functional Storage Solutions – the Best Organization Hack!
The BEST (in my opinion) organization hack for maximizing your bathroom sink organization is to use multi-functional storage solutions. Target especially has some great options for cute decor that is also super useful for storage! This Hearth and Hand caddy is technically supposed to be used for the kitchen sink, but a great hack is to use this as a spare toothbrush holder in your guest bath and travel size toothpaste or small, rolled hand towels would be great to add to the tray.
9. Establish a Daily Routine
Last but not least, establish a daily routine for maintaining your organized bathroom sink area. Spend a few minutes each day wiping down surfaces, putting away products, and ensuring that everything is in its rightful place. Consistency is key to long-term organization success!
Implementing these 9 bathroom sink organization tips will hopefully make your busy life just a little bit easier and stress-free. I know organizing a space can have overwhelming moments, but consistency is key in achieving control over the clutter in your home – and starting small (like with a bathroom sink) is the best way to begin. Hope this helps!
